Well, now’s your chance as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell today announced that Thursday Night Football will be streamed on Twitter from the 2016 season.

Even after Facebook pulled out last week, Twitter was just one of several platforms bidding for the rights to stream games after the NFL opened up packages to capitalise on the success of Yahoo streaming the London game between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars last season.
The NFL shows 18 Thursday and Saturday night football games per season with CBS and NBC each owning five while the NFL Network broadcasts those 10 plus an additional eight exclusively live.
It is not yet known how this deal will impact on that structure but it does tie in with the NFL’s bid to make football a global sport.
